Bennett will speak at chamber luncheon

Author, columnist and "dog owner" Joe Bennett will be the guest speaker at an upcoming Queenstown Chamber of Commerce luncheon, held in conjunction with the Southern Lakes Festival of Colour.

Bennett, best known for his newspaper columns, which are published in newspapers across New Zealand, including the Otago Daily Times, each week, will speak about the arts, life, "bureaucrats and dogs" at the Crowne Plaza's threesixty restaurant on May 18.

The Festival of Colour's success in Wanaka means it will be bringing a bigger and better programme to Queenstown.

The luncheon, which begins at noon, will also provide more information on the Festival of Colour and how businesses can help to bring the best of the arts to the region.

Tickets for the luncheon cost $40 plus GST for members and $45 plus GST for non-members, or $350 plus GST for a corporate table of 10.

For further information or to book, email catherine@ queenstownchamber.org.nz.

Bookings close on May 14.
