    The significant recent rainfall has led to the lifting of the level 2 water restrictions for Waikouaiti (including Karitane and Hawksbury).

    Dunedin City Council acting group manager 3 Waters John McAndrew thanked the residents of Waikouaiti, Karitane and Hawksbury for their patience and their efforts to reduce water demand.
