Creative crafts and gallery trails will offer a world of discovery for young explorers.
Children’s Day, Te Rā o Ngā Tamariki, will once again be celebrated at Tūhura Otago Museum with a day of fun, free events from 10am on Sunday, March 1.
Events manager Rachel MacJeff said the museum had been running Children’s Day for many years with plenty of free and low-cost attractions.
From craft projects to a gallery trail, face painting and balloon animals, there will be plenty for young people to enjoy.
There will also be Mr Whippy and free popcorn.
There are morning and afternoon sessions of a science show that usually draws a huge turnout, she said.
