A South Dunedin community group is offering free second-hand sports equipment to help get locals active.
Dream South D has partnered with Sport Otago for a Sports Reconnect event on Saturday, June 6, 11am-2pm, at King’s High School in Bay View Rd.
Communications lead Vanessa Kirkpatrick said the event was an opportunity for families to collect items in good condition.
King’s High School student volunteers are running a free sausage sizzle and there will be spot prizes and giveaways on the day.
Organisers are welcoming donations.
