South Dunedin blaze destroys 14 cars

Dunedin fire fighters were called out this morning to extinguish a big blaze involving 30 derelict vehicles, in a yard on Wilkie Rd, behind Tokyo Auto Town in South Dunedin.

The firefighters were called just after 9am and the fire has been put out now.

A Fire Service spokeswoman said nobody had been injured in the blaze.

Fourteen cars were destroyed.
