A 19-year-old male has been arrested and charged with assault with intent to injure in relation to an assault on road workers.
He appeared in the Alexandra District Court yesterday and was remanded on bail to reappear in court on February 10.
On Tuesday, police were on the hunt for multiple assailants after road workers were assaulted in Barry Ave in Cromwell.
A police media spokeswoman said inquiries were ongoing.
