Care urged after crash on Lindis Pass

Motorists are being urged to take care on the Lindis Pass after a crash between a car and a truck early this afternoon.

A police spokeswoman said officers were notified about 12.35pm of the crash, which occurred just north of Tarras between Cluden Creek Rd and Phillips Rd on State Highway 8.

A St John spokeswoman said one ambulance responded and took one patient to Wanaka Medical Centre with minor injuries.

Motorists were asked to travel through the area with care, the police spokeswoman said.
