Looking good for WoolOn

WoolOn committee member Anne Pullar expected about 200 people for yesterday’s "first look" night and the gala event tonight  would be close to its 450-person capacity.

Both are being held at Alexandra’s Orora building in Ngapara St.

It was "amazing" what the event’s small committee had achieved, she said.

"We’re very excited. There are some absolutely beautiful garments."

About 30 mostly woollen outfits will be displayed at the event.
