Lorde has been confirmed as dining out in Central Otago during a break during touring.
The chart-topping singer has been seen in St Bathans and is believed to have also been in Clyde.
Fairfax reported an anonymous Central Otago worker saying they had seen Lorde dining at St Bathans' historic Vulcan Hotel and another person, who did not want to be named, confirmed to the Otago Daily Times that Lorde had been seen in St Bathans.
It is understood Lorde also dined at Paulina's, in Clyde.
When contacted for comment, owner Paulina Corvalan said she would ''prefer not to comment'' about whether Lorde had dined there.
Lorde finished the Oceania leg of her Melodrama World Tour at the end of November last year and is set to resume the tour in March.
On November 7, Lorde celebrated her 21st birthday in Otago, when she played at the Dunedin Town Hall.
