With only two days until the close of submissions for the Otago Regional Council's draft annual plan, fewer than 50 submissions have been received.
Submissions on the draft plan and amendments to the 2009-2019 long-term council community plan opened late last month, and will close on Monday.
Corporate services director Wayne Scott said the amendments included revised funding options for the Leith Lindsay flood protection scheme; changes to the way flood and drainage schemes on the Taieri Plain were rated; and the proposed addition of about 800 households to the Dunedin passenger transport rating area.
By Thursday, 47 submissions had been received but "many times that number" were expected by close of submissions on Monday.
