All fired up

Six60 band members (above, from left) Matiu Walters, Ji Fraser and Chris Mac try on the Weston Volunteer Fire Brigade’s gear in the Four Square carpark before their Oamaru show. 

The band showed up in Weston at 5pm to take photos with fans.

 

All manner of things were signed, from arms and guitars to hockey sticks.

 

When asked what he thought of Oamaru and Weston, singer Walters said the community had really shown up for them.

 

The band got a ride to the Opera House in the Weston Fire Station truck.
