A Temuka man was arrested by Oamaru police at the weekend and charged with the unlawful conversion of a motor vehicle.
The 50-year-old man was taken into custody on Foyle St at 2.35am on Sunday after he failed to return a vehicle lent to him in Temuka by the owner, Sergeant Blair Wilkinson said.
The man was due to appear in the Timaru District Court this week.
