Double-decker fun

Coming from as far away as Australia, 10 current and former Oamaru residents took to the streets of North Otago in a double-decker bus to celebrate turning 70 in 2016.

Organiser Valerie Shekleton, of the Orwell Street Church, said yesterday's tiki tour was about bringing old friends together to explore towns such as Weston, Kakanui and Oamaru again.

``Some of these people haven't seen each other for decades.''
