Kauru Hill sisters Renata (8) and Shannon (4) Burnett have been busy teaching their pet lambs to lead.

The pair are taking Molly and Bounce to a pet day in Oamaru tomorrow, organised by the North Otago A and P Association in conjunction with Vetlife.

The pet day, a new event, will start at the showgrounds at 10am and organisers hope it will be held annually.

There will be classes for all types of pets.

Renata and Shannon are excited about taking their lambs.

They have been teaching them to lead along the driveway at their home at Kauru Hill, with a little assistance from their father, Bryce.
