A section of State Highway 1 has closed after a truck rolled near the Makikihi, Kingsbury Road intersection.
Police responded to the incident around 2.30pm and said there were no reports of injuries at that time.
They said the road was expected to remain closed for about two hours while efforts were made to right the truck.
Northbound traffic is being diverted at McNamaras Road, through Parsonage Road, Waimate Hunter Road, and Lower Hook Road.
Southbound traffic is being directed off SH1 at Lower Hook Road.
