Topp Twins for show

The Topp Twins will be the headline act in a full line-up of entertainment at the 130th Palmerston and Waihemo A and P Show in Palmerston on February 3.

It was the biggest act ever booked for the show, Palmerston and Waihemo A and P Society president Gay Mills said.

Many new members had joined the show committee after an appeal for volunteers through the Otago Daily Times last year and the committee hoped to draw a larger crowd than the 2000 who attended the 2012 show, she said.

Our journalists are your neighbours

We are the South's eyes and ears in crucial council meetings, at court hearings, on the sidelines of sporting events and on the frontline of breaking news.

As our region faces uncharted waters in the wake of a global pandemic, Otago Daily Times continues to bring you local stories that matter.

We employ local journalists and photographers to tell your stories, as other outlets cut local coverage in favour of stories told out of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

You can help us continue to bring you local news you can trust by becoming a supporter.
