Hampden residents are being asked what they want from their memorial hall complex.
A survey has been sent to residents seeking their views on the facilities and services at the complex and how greater use could made of it.
The survey is being conducted by the hall committee and Hampden Community Energy Committee.
Committee secretary Elizabeth Norton said the survey was "very much an early exploratory exercise" and no decision had been made about whether the complex should be redeveloped.
"At this stage, we want to see what ideas come back, what people would like [in the hall].
"We want to see if there is any interest in doing anything and how the hall can be adapted for additional uses," she said.
The complex has a hall, meeting room, kitchen and the town's public toilets.
It also houses the Hampden community library and has facilities for doctors' visits.
The survey asks residents if the facilities and services at the hall meet their needs; about activities they would like it to be used for; if they can help with upkeep; and for any comments or suggestions they may have.
Once the survey forms have been collected, ideas will be collated and residents provided with feedback either by newsletter or a public meeting.
