The 18-year-old rugby player moved to the Oamaru school at the start of the year from Methven as a boarder.
This season she played for the St Taki U18 team before earning representative honours with the Hanan Shield U18 team and Otago Spirit development.
Most recently, Clark (Ngapuhi) played for the New Zealand Maori U18 team that took on the New Zealand Barbarians in Pukekohe last week.
She was selected for the squad after attending a camp in July and spent three days with the team to prepare for the game.
"It was very eye-opening to see what the next level of girls’ rugby is," Clark said.
"The Auckland girls, they’re just at the level already because they have so many people to help them get to that level."
She enjoyed getting to test herself against some of the best players in the country during the match.
"It was very physical, very scrappy. You could tell both teams really wanted to win."
Clark and her team-mates came out on top, 24-22.
Earlier this year, she was one of the youngest members of the Otago Spirit development side.
There were "a couple" of other players still at school and a lot of university students making up a young squad, Clark said.
"It was scary at first but everybody was very inclusive and made me feel very welcome."
She hoped to one day pull on the Spirit jersey.
Clark began playing rugby "maybe four years ago" while still living in Methven and instantly fell in love with the game.
"It was a very non-competitive game but I suppose I took it very competitively.
"It’s been through my family forever.
"My mum and my dad both played."
Next season she would continue to play, either in Dunedin or Christchurch.
