Bones found in Kingston probably animal's

Bones discovered in Kingston last night were likely to have belonged to an animal, Queenstown police say.

The bones were discovered by a Kingston resident yesterday evening, close to the base of the Kingston wharf.

Acting Senior Sergeant Steve Watt, of Queenstown, said police conducted a scene examination at the site.

The bones had been removed for forensic examination, he said.
