A car fire which threatened a house in Inniscort St, Cromwell, on Saturday morning is at the centre of a fire safety investigation.
Police and the Cromwell Fire Brigade attended the incident about 4am.
Chief Fire Officer Steve Shaw, of Cromwell, said the car was "well involved," by the time fire appliances arrived.
The burning vehicle was about 2m from a house and this initially caused the fire brigade some concern, he said.
Firefighters extinguished the flames in about 15 minutes and subsequently dampened down hotspots.
