Queenstown Lakes residents can buy a season pass to next year's BMW New Zealand Open golf tournament at a discounted locals' rate.
Organisers have discounted the cost of the four-day pass to $39.99 for local residents, by using the promotion code ''QLDC'', in recognition of the support the event has been given by the Queenstown Lakes District Council.
The standard price for a four-day season pass is $54.99 and daily passes range from $19.99 to $29.99. Children under 18 get in free.
Discounted tickets can be bought from www.ticketek.co.nz or www.bmwnzopen.com before March 1.
The NZ Open will take place on March 12-15 next year on two courses, The Hills and Millbrook Resort.
