Dux Wonder Dogs show their tricks

A total of $270 was raised for the SPCA from registrations and donations, when the second annual Dux Wonder Dogs show was held, in Queenstown, yesterday.

Up to 14 dogs and their owners entered the fun competition, which involved an agility test over an obstacle course and a stick-fetching heat at the lake front.

The best trick and "bar off" rounds were held in the Dux de Lux, which the co-organised the event. Spot prizes were offered, courtesy of other co-organiser, Pets n Vets, in Frankton.

The overall Dux Wonder Dog winner was a collie named Fergus, who won 20kg of dog food.
