Larger-than-life paintings of native flora in vivid clarity form the first solo exhibition at Milford Galleries Queenstown for Auckland artist Neal Palmer this month.

The 42-year-old London-born artist will attend the preview of "Woven Paths", upstairs at the Church Ln gallery on Friday, June 11, from 5.30pm.

A show will be presented on the ground floor featuring selected artists' distinctive paper, glass, sculpture and canvas artworks.

Art consultant Vanessa Eve Cook said Mr Palmer's hyper-real details of nature drew the viewer in and showed "the enticing qualities of paint and the beauty of New Zealand's organic landscapes".
