The Salvation Army will be supported by Queenstown restaurant threesixty in raising funds for its Give a Family a Break programme.
The restaurant, at the Crowne Plaza Queenstown, will serve a specially-created five-course gourmet menu, matched with New Zealand wines, in a fully-hosted Chef's Table - which will be held on four nights next month - with the proceeds going to the charity.
The offer is available for seats at one table hosted by a member of the Crowne Plaza Team.
Crowne Plaza Queenstown general manager Matt Anderson said the $99 price was "an absolute bargain".
"Our Chef's Table dinners will provide a tasty fundraiser and a great opportunity for Queenstown people to enjoy the superb skills of our executive chef Fabien Simon."
The dinners were part of the hotel's aim to raise $3000 for the Salvation Army's Give a Family a Break campaign, designed to give disadvantaged New Zealanders a holiday.
"The Salvation Army is the chosen associated charity of IHG New Zealand (which operates Crowne Plaza Queenstown).
"It is a fantastic charity to support and we are all very passionate about raising money to give people a holiday," Mr Anderson said.
The central Queenstown hotel has been running a sausage-sizzle and soup kitchen outside its Beach St property each Thursday afternoon as part of the fundraising campaign.
So far, $800 has been raised, with the sausage-sizzles to continue every Thursday until September 30 at 4pm.
Chef's Special Dinners will be held on September 3, 10, 17 and 24.
