The Cure Kids $10 Challenge stopped by at the Remarkables Primary School on Thursday, with 26 costumed competitors treated to a powhiri and tug-of-wars with excited school pupils.
Chosen to represent Cure Kids ambassadors, the competitors raised money for the children's illness research funding charity while travelling to Auckland - with only $10 in their pockets.

The competitors began their journey in Queenstown on Wednesday night, making their way up the country, completing "Amazing Race-style" challenges before finishing in Auckland on Saturday.
