The Wanaka Chamber of Commerce has added an extra member to its executive board, after it appointed four nominees to fill positions representing three sectors.
Matt Davison, of Caltex Wanaka, and Cyril Coombe, of Flooring Xtra, were voted on to the chamber's executive board, as were Kay Macpherson, of Kinetica, and Victoria Murray-Orr, of EveNZ.
All four board members come from the retail or event management sectors, as there was no nominees from Wanaka's hospitality sector.
Existing members Andrew McKenzie, Alistair King, Ed Taylor, Leigh Stock and Lyal Cocks were all reappointed.
There has been no change to the board of Lake Wanaka Tourism, with Mr Stock, Brett Pihama and Stephanie Pursley all voted back to their positions.
The trio had to stand again for appointment after prescribed two-year terms.
Pilot Ruth Presland, whose tourism flight instruction company was a small business category finalist in the Otago Chamber of Commerce Awards recently, missed out on being voted on to the LWT board.
