Elements of music-making being chosen for 'Chicago'

Critical musical components of the Showbiz Queenstown production of Chicago are falling into place, as the eight-week countdown starts until the curtain rises on opening night.

While there is still one place to be confirmed, the following musical talents were advised this week they will be part of the Chicago orchestra:They include Jared Anderson, on reed, Lyndon Crabbe, on trombone, Daniel Dance, on percussion, Paul Frude, on reed, Phil Hartshorn, on guitar, Sheena Naughton on violin, Gen Numaguchi on trumpet, Bill Somerville, on bass, James Stephenson, on keyboard, and Trevor Tattersfield, on trumpet.

Showbiz Queenstown continues rehearsals for its season of Chicago, which will be performed in the Queenstown Memorial Centre from May 16-25.
