A pedestrian has been taken to Lakes District Hospital after being hit by a car in Queenstown tonight.
A police spokeswoman said the incident happened at the intersection of Stanley St and Ballarat St at 7.10pm.
The 23-year-old woman suffered moderate injuries.
The road was now clear and police were speaking to the people involved.
