Podium finish

In a Kiwi one-two, Queenstown’s Malik Boatwright finished second in the UCI World Cup Junior (under-19) Men’s Downhill in Leogang, Austria, at the weekend.

It was the first podium of the season for the Continental Atherton pro team rider. Boatwright, 17, was runner-up to Palmerston North’s Jonty Williamson, 18, who has now won three junior World Cup downhills in a row.
