Against some of the country’s toughest opponents, three Muay Thai fighters from a Queenstown martial arts school won their bouts at a Hamilton fight show recently.

And the fourth only lost in a split decision.

Larsson-Allen took his record to 2-0 after finishing off his opponent with a second-round TKO.

On her debut, Cleaver secured a unanimous points win with high pace and sharp kicks.

Vassalos faced home-crowd favourite and multiple New Zealand champion, Wiamato Hira, in a back-and-forth bout.

She scored a heavy knock-down in the second round and eventually earned a majority points win.

That took her to a 10-0 fight record and secured her a shot at the ISKA NZ championship title in Christchurch in August.

In the main event, Harris took on TMT gym’s Bubba Tairua-Bracken.

After aggressive exchanges, the latter won by a heavily-contested split decision. As a result, the fight has been put under a review and an immediate rematch has been ordered in Queenstown, where the fighters will compete for a pro NZ Muay Thai title later this year.
