The second fault on Aurora Energy's network within 24 hours cut power to some residents in Queenstown today.
Aurora Energy said on social media this morning it sent a response crew at the site of the fault in Glenorchy-Queenstown Rd.
It posted an update just after 2pm saying the repairs had been completed.
It did not comment on the nature of the fault, but asked people to treat "all lines and electrical equipment as live at all times".
The fault comes after a pole failure in Ventry St, Alexandra, last night, which cut power to a number of residents.
The pole failure was the third in Alexandra since August.
Comment is being sought from Aurora Energy.
