A woman sustained moderate injuries after getting her hand caught in machinery in an Arrowtown restaurant this morning.
A Queenstown ambulance crew was called to Mickey Finn's Irish Bar, on Ramshaw Lane, at 9.25am, a St John spokesman said.
The 25-year-old was taken to Lakes District Hospital in a ''moderate'' condition a short time later.
Police were advised of the incident, which has been referred to WorkSafe for investigation.
