At least one person has sustained minor injuries after a car rolled near Otematata this morning.
A police spokesman said the car rolled on the Otematata River Bridge, just east of the town on State Highway 83 between Otematata and Kurow, about 7.50am.
Emergency services were still at the scene as of 9am and initial reports suggested any injuries were minor.
More than one passenger was in the car but there was no word on exactly how many.
The road is not blocked.
Fire crews and ambulance also attended.
A St John spokesman said one patient was assessed and treated at the scene.
