A floral theatre presented by professional florist and floral art designer Francine Thomas, of Tauranga, will be held in the hall from 7.30pm.
The show called "Element of Surprise" will feature Ms Thomas creating designs from fresh flowers and other plant material, enhanced by music, lighting, and lively storytelling.
Ms Thomas said she loved sharing ideas and inspiration through floral art theatre.
"It's hard to explain floral theatre - every show is different."
Ms Thomas is a talented florist who has been interested in floral art for the past seven years.
She held her first floral art theatre in 2010, and also teaches, judges, and demonstrates floral techniques throughout the country.
She arrived in Balclutha on Wednesday night, spending yesterday and today creating designs and her set before the theatre tonight.
Ms Thomas brought with her most of the plant material required for the arrangements, including subtropical gerberas, cymbidiums, phalaenopsis, lilies and other highly-coloured blooms and foliage, much of which was not common in Otago and Southland.
Club members also gathered colourful foliage for the theatre.
Some of the designs created in Balclutha by Ms Thomas will be auctioned at the end of the show.
