Person injured in Balclutha crash

Emergency services attend a crash between a car and a ute in Essex St (State Highway 1) in Balclutha, near the intersection with Yarmouth St yesterday about 5.15pm.

Emergency services removed the roof of one car and a rescue helicopter was called to assist.

A police spokeswoman said one person was seriously injured and it appeared a vehicle had hit a parked vehicle.
