Christmas festivity comes to Bluff

Warm weather embraced the annual Bluff Santa Parade and Christmas in the Bluff Gala Day yesterday. 

Organised by Bluff Promotions, the parade saw a cavalcade of floats, marchers, hot rods, steam-ologists, the Bluff Coastguard and Steve-O the Stag, all led by the town crier, travel down Gore St to the Oyster Festival site where the Gala Day took place.

Rarely seen outside of December, Santa Claus also made an expected appearance in the parade and spent the gala mingling with the southern crowd.

Organised by the Christmas In the Bluff committee, the gala had plenty of offer, with face painting, market stalls, live entertainment, food and games.
