One injured after logging truck rolls

One person received moderate injuries after a logging truck rolled in Southland today.

A St John spokeswoman said they were called to the scene, on Mokoreta-Tahakopa Rd, about 7.45am.

An ambulance, a prime doctor and a first response unit attended and took one patient to Southland Hospital in a moderate condition.

A police spokeswoman said the road was blocked for some time and was cleared about 11.55am, the police spokeswoman said.
