Spending a summer day at a favourite seaside spot

Isla Russell (5) is making the most of the summer holidays — her last before she starts school next month.

She had a blast playing with her dog Ali at Daffodil Bay, Invercargill, yesterday.

Mum Fiona Russell said it was one of the family’s favourite places.

‘‘She loves to be near the water. ’’

Isla said she was excited to be going to school and was looking forward to meeting new friends.
