Two people have been injured in a head-on crash on the Crown Range this afternoon.
Police were called to the scene, on the Wanaka side of the Crown Range Rd about 5.20pm, after reports of a two-car crash, a spokeswoman said.
One lane of the road was blocked following the crash.
A St John spokesman said two patients with moderate injuries were taken to Lakes District Hospital by road.
