The Warehouse, Noel Leeming set to open in Wānaka

    Big box retailers The Warehouse and Noel Leeming are preparing to open their doors in Wānaka next month.

    The two stores, both owned by the Warehouse Group, will take up 5100sqm in the Three Parks commercial precinct.

    They are set to add to the resort town’s growing number of large chain stores.

    The Warehouse Group’s chief store operations officer Ian Carter said he was "thrilled" to be opening the stores in Wānaka.

    Sixty-five people will be employed across both stores.

    The stores will open on October 12 and the first 300 customers — 200 at The Warehouse, and 100 at Noel Leeming — will receive a goody bag and cupcakes.
