A flight from Invercargill to Wellington was delayed more than five hours yesterday due to bird strike the night before.
The flight from Invercargill to Wellington was delayed by five hours and 11 minutes after the aircraft experienced bird strike on Monday night.
The aircraft underwent an engineering check yesterday morning and was cleared to depart at 11.31am.
Air New Zealand apologised to customers for the delay.
