No injuries in car-train collision

Police interview witnesses at the scene of a collision between a train and a car in Southland yesterday afternoon.

The collision happened at a level crossing at the intersection of Given Rd and State Highway 1, between Mataura and Gore.

Traffic was disrupted but no injuries were reported.
