At the Riversdale Arts Mixed Media Exhibition last month she was awarded a life membership by the committee.
When she was young, her mother Joan Clark would bring her to exhibitions and have her help out with catalogue day and in the hall.

Her mother was awarded a life membership in 2013.
Mrs O’Connor had many highlights as a committee member, including seeing the excitement on children’s faces when they visited and seeing people return to the exhibition.
"There’s nowhere else you can see [that] much all in one place.
"A lot of work and time ... goes into it but it is worth it when you see so many people enjoy what we do."
She was the president of the committee from 2016 to 2019.
The art brought the community and people together.
But with the highs there was bound to be lows.
"It is pretty exhausting and stressful at times," she said.
An artistic brain did not help with that.
The exhibition had modernised over her last 10 years on the committee.
"I am inclined to come up with lots of ideas but I do try to make them all happen myself."
She helped to introduce many ideas to the exhibition.
These included bringing on an administrator to help with paperwork, a wine and cheese night on the Saturday of the exhibition and a cake auction.
This year’s 50th Riversdale Arts Mixed Media Exhibition had been a success, she said.
"It’s a great way for us to give back to the community."
