Cricket: SA win toss, field

South Africa have won the toss and opted to field against New Zealand in the third one-day international in Auckland today.

A damp outfield caused a slight delay to the match at Eden Park, but the match is now under way.

While the much-talked-about weather bomb is causing havoc further south in the North Island, it has yet to really make its presence felt in Auckland.

The Black Caps have left Taran Nethula out of their XI, and Doug Bracewell and Jesse Ryder are both out after breaching team protocol. Colin de Grandhomme comes in for his ODI debut, and Nathan McCullum and Michael Bates also get a run today.

South Africa have left Jacques Kallis, Morne Morkel and Justin Ontong out. Replacing them are Wayne Parnell, Johan Botha and Marchant de Lange.
