Players and supporters turned up at the Oval on Saturday for the Dunedin Super League’s third season.

United 11, of Christchurch, played the perfect match to win back-to-back DSL titles and take home the winner’s cheque of $2001. Runner-up Canterbury Phoenix won $1001. The twenty20 knockout competition, attracting eight teams from Canterbury, Timaru and Dunedin, is based on the Indian Premier League and has become a staple for Dunedin cricket. Photographer Gregor Richardson captured these moments.
