OBHS soundly beaten

Otago Boys’ High School sunk to a heavy defeat against Hutt International Boys’ School in round three of the Gillette Cup in Christchurch yesterday.

Lewis Jeffreys struck 107 to help Hutt International Boys’ post 301 for four.

In search of the stiff target, OBHS could only manage 126 all out, with Max Boylen’s hard-hit 40 at No 7 the biggest contribution. HIBS’ Ollie Saunderson picked up five for 31.

OBHS now sit bottom of the six-team ladder, with matches remaining against Hamilton’s St Paul’s Collegiate tomorrow and Auckland’s Westlake Boys’ High School on Monday.
