Korean teenager Joohyung Kim has claimed the late lead on a windy afternoon on day two of the New Zealand Open.

Kim (17), who led overnight, has moved to 11-under par and four-under par today at The Hills with four holes to play.

He has a one shot lead on Ben Eccles from Australia who fired a four-under 68 today at The Hills to hold the clubhouse lead on 10-under.

Two players - Pavit Tangkamolprasert from Thailand and Australian Lucas Herbert  - share third place, on nine-under with the Thai player firing an eight-under 64 at The Hills this morning in the calm conditions.

There is interest at the other end of the field  - Kiwi Ryan Fox is at one-over par with four holes remaining, with the cut line for the top 60 players and ties at even par.
