Young golfers take a swing at it

    More than 82 keen, young golfers competed in the inaugural Dunedin junior strokeplay at the Otago Golf Club yesterday.

    It was the brainchild of the Dunedin Junior Golf Club, which was started by Shelley Duncan in 2015 and now had 471 members.

    Other winners were Harry Morrison (10-19.9 handicap gross), Jake Kara (10-19.9 handicap net), James Tate (20-39.9 handicap gross and net) and Lachie McEwan (40-54 handicap gross and net).
