St Hilda’s Collegiate made the perfect start to the New Zealand secondary schools championships in Porirua yesterday.
St Hilda’s opened with a 47-22 thumping of St Andrew’s College, and followed that with a 43-36 win over Manukura.
Fellow Dunedin school Columba College opened the tournament with a 37-33 loss to Napier Girls’ High School followed by a 34-34 draw with Mt Albert Grammar. — Allied Media
