Valley, Union, Albion and Oamaru qualified for the Borton Cup semifinals in senior club cricket on Saturday.
Valley beat St Kevin's College by 100 runs.
Union defeated Albion by eight wickets and Oamaru beat Waitaki Boys High School by six wickets.
St Kevin's bowlers restricted Valley to 165 in 37 overs at Weston Park.
Byron Neil and Geoff Mavor both made 33, while solid innings from Dean Malcolm (26) and Scorr Kingan (21) gave the side a confident start.
St Kevin's bowlers Tim Gourlay, Tim O'Malley and Peter O'Malley took three wickets each.
Craig Direen destroyed the St Kevin's innings, taking seven for 25 as St Kevin's collapsed to be all out for 65 in 19 overs.
A fine bowling spell from Phil Crossan, who took five for 38, saw Albion dismissed for a meagre 90 in just 20 overs.
Marshall Smith topscored with 24.
An unbeaten 25 from Jeremiah Shields guided Union to 91 for two in 16 overs.
Waitaki Boys High School was bundled out for 95 in 23 overs by Oamaru, with Nick Johnston taking eight for 15, including a hat trick, while Roly Senior claimed two for 17.
Oamaru was given a fine start by veteran Mark Julius (21) and he was backed up by Scott Wilson (24) as Oamaru cruised to 98 for four in 16 overs, with Riley Rooney taking two for 16.
In the semifinals next week, top-qualifier Valley will play bottom-qualifier Oamaru.
Second-placed Union will meet third-finisher Albion.
Bowls
The Phoenix team of Kerry Kelly, Brenda Direen and Gail Douglas won the women's champion of champion triples title with a 26-19 win over Wilmae Caldwell, Dawn Murphy and Theresa Hamilton-Irvine from the Awamoa club.
The win gave Kelly and Direen their ninth centre titles.
A four on the fourth of the 21 ends saw Caldwell take an 8-3 lead but a three and a four on the seventh and eighth ends gave Kelly a lead she was not to relinquish, although Caldwell got within three shots with three ends remaining.
Brenda Hope, of Phoenix, claimed her 14th centre title when she defeated Awamoa's Eleanor Nimmo 21-8 at the Meadowbank club.
Hope beat Kurow's Pat Robinson 21-4 in the semifinals, while Nimmo accounted for Meadowbank's Anne McDonald 21-16.
Former North Otago rugby halfback John Munro won his first centre title in the men's champions of champions singles at the Phoenix club on Saturday, when he beat Maheno's Ray Forbes 21-10 in the final.
The Otematata bowler beat Hampden's Bob Cheyne 21-13, and Meadowbank's Len Milner 21-14, on his way to the title.
Awamoa's Bill Collins beat Phoenix's Dan Fletcher in the Colts final with a 21-16 win.
The Maheno team of Neil Robson and Allan Holmes took the final of the men's Jack Collins pairs at the RSA green.
Maheno was to play Jock Sangster's Meadowbank A team in a semifinal but Sangster's lead, Peter Watson, mistook the day and Robson won by default.
Graeme Sangster and Rowan Breen won the other semifinal with a 14-7 win over Jim Ellis and Jack Brokenshire.
Robson led from the start and Sangster finally drew level 12-12 on the 15th of the 16 ends.
Robson, however, held his nerve and picked up two shots on the final end for a 14-12 win.
Tennis
Only one Southern sub-association game was played on Saturday, with Waikouaiti beating Weston Rockers 9-7.
Waimanui defaulted to Weston Rollers.
South Otago

Heavy rain on Friday forced the final of the South Otago cricket competition, set down for Saturday, to be postponed.
It will now be played this Saturday or Sunday, depending on weather conditions.
Bowls
Another round in the men's interclub competition was played on Saturday, with the weather interfering with some of the games.
Balclutha drew 6-6 with Milton Blue.
For Balclutha, John deMalmanche and Noddy Thomson scored wins, while Bill Barron and deMalmanche picked up a draw each.
For Milton Blue, Sandy McNoe scored a win and a draw, as did Adam Wyber.
In a rain-shortened game, Waihola beat Stirling 8-4, with only three of the six games being completed.
Bert Russell and Trevor Robinson won for Waihola, while Munroe Bunting picked up Stirling's only win.
Milton White drew 6-6 with Clutha Valley.
For Milton white, Murray Grant (2) and Gerry Wyber scored wins, while Ken Rishworth ( 2) and R.

Crawford scored wins.
Owaka beat Milton Gold 8-4 in their game at Milton.
Tom Dallas was in great form for Owaka, with an 18-7 win in his first game of triples, then teamed up with Bruce Wilson in a pairs game and won 26-9.
Bryan Price and Lance Ibbotson scored wins for Owaka.
For Milton Gold, Arthur Mead scored two wins.
Kaka Point held out T and C by 7-5.
For the Seasiders, Ray Hopkins scored two wins,while John Bisset added another win and a draw.
For T and C, Bruce Campbell and Jim Savage scored wins, while Savage picked a draw in his other game.
Lawrence scored a narrow 7-5 win over Kaitangata in their game at Lawrence.
For the winners, Don Cameron, Gavin Patrick and Geoff Slack scored wins, with Cameron picking up a draw in his second game.
The best for Kaitangata came from Neville Twaddle and Bill Marshall with one win each.
Stu Uren picked up a draw.
